This is to my dear friend Liam, a huge Marluxia fan, and a great role-player^^ Acutally, one of the best i've met. Hope you like it, Liam! :hug:

Okay! Now onto the actual description! This took me...what...a week? I dunno, but it's an on/off project since I was more worried about my violin exam. Now that the exam is over, I managed to finish it in one night^^ What i hate most about this piece is the scythe -_- I can't draw metal. I can't colour metal,, and it doesn't look like metal. I give up...for now -__- Other than that, I'm pretty happy on how the cloak turned out. I'm still learninghow to CG more profesioanl/realistic-looking hair so...I'm working on it okay? xD

~CONCEPT~

The concept behind this is Out Of Bounds. Yeah, I guess you cold say this is my first OBB(except it's not very professionally done), and I think it looks fine^^. Sorry again for the background. I wanted to make a fanart with so many abstract elements in it. here, you have Marluxia who's painted and smudged and whatnot, and then, boom. Simple, vector background. Did it work? Well...I sure hope so. It depend on your opinions.

So...I hope all you marluxia fans enjoy it! It feels good to be ressurected for the dead XD (as in lack of posting new pictures)

metal: try extreme contrast of tones, plus some super bright strips of reflection perpendicular to the body of the piece o_O

I... don't really know much about metal, so I can't help you there ^^; As for the realistic hair, you're doing pretty well. I can't see too closely, but I'd suggest... maybe more strands and not so much blatant contrast between the dark and light shades?

Ah hey, if you're interested, I think I had a good tutorial somewhere...

Thanks for the advice^^ I also read a tutorial for hair but..I could never draw it as well as the tut's author XD I think I need more practice. My friend suggested a tablet. Well...I've got another friend who has one so..who knows, I'll prolly borrow it and try out the hair again =)
